The program journeys through Gabriela Lena Frank’s Elegía Andina, weaving echoes of Andean tradition into a contemporary sound world, Bruch’s soaring lyricism in his Violin Concerto, the graceful charm of Debussy’s Petite Suite, and Kodály’s exhilarating Hungarian dances. A program rich in color and character, it celebrates music’s power to cross cultures and speak to the heart. Tickets include a pre-concert talk with Michael Hall, the performance, and a post-concert Q&A with the conductor, soloist, and select musicians.
