This concert highlights West Chester’s own Samuel Barber with his powerful First Essay, alongside Grieg’s beloved Piano Concerto. It culminates in Schumann’s “Rhenish” Symphony No. 3, inspired by the grandeur of the Rhine and filled with warmth, peace, and triumph. Tickets include a pre-concert talk and a post-concert Q&A with the conductor, soloist, and musicians.
