A Long Tradition

Brandywine Valley Symphony was established in 1940 and is the only professional symphony orchestra in Chester County, Pennsylvania. We serve the greater Philadelphia region from southeastern Pennsylvania to northern Delaware. Our musicians also include New York, Maryland and New Jersey.

From dynamic guest soloists to chamber performances that spotlight our ensembles, this year’s concerts promise powerful music-making and unforgettable moments. We’re performing in some of the region’s most exceptional venues—from the Duffy Arts Center and Mendenhall Inn to the Chester County History Center, Kennett Library, and Winterthur Museum. Our season culminates in a grand finale at Longwood Gardens.
